Pigeon lake has a few different options available, Pigeon lake Provincial Park, Zeiner Park, and Mameo Beach. Pigeon Lake is approximately 22 km long & 11 km wide. The provincial park is about a 1 hour drive southwest of Edmonton. The Provincial park provides excellent fishing & bird watching opportunities. Well-treed campsites provide visitors with a quiet & serene camping experience. There are golf courses, a shopping centre & a farmers market within a 15-minute drive of the park.

The provincial park has 293 sites available with 43 of the sites being power. The power sites are on a first come first serve basis, water taps are available through out the park. Wood is available for a fee and you do have to pay for showers. The power sites are not very close to the water, but the sites are bigger.  Shower houses with flush toilets are available through out the park also.

The water at this end of the lake can get quite a lot of algae build up especially if the weather has been hot.
